Blizzard Cup Day 2

Leenock going into the event strong

Live from the event for the second Day of Blizzard Cup, it was time for NaNiwa to take on the Koreans and prove the foreigners could compete with the best.

NaNiwa's first game was against Leenock, a re-match everyone was waiting for, that an NesTea, NaNiwa loves the zerg rivalries.

The Blizzard Cup really did manage to bring out more spectators to the GOMTV studios, the star presence and chance to see amazing epic games had the fans running, filling out the majority of the studio, in Korea that is impressive, especially with the Brood War dominance.

The matches kicked off with NesTea taking on MMA in an epic ZvT, we don't like spoilers on Up Close Gamers, so you guys should head over to GOMTV and watch the VOD's HERE. The next game was NaNiwa vs Leenock and as you have most likely heard their was a lot of controversy around NaNiwa and Blizzard Cup which has blown up, possibly out of proportion, on this matter all we can say is watch the games and make your own mind up regarding the issue.

Due to the nature of the tournament we ended up seeing a three way tie in Group B, this put into question the tournament format and had many question the issues that arose around this tournament, again watch the VOD's and make your own opinion.

Also we will be releasing a mini-documentary following NaNiwa and his journey through Blizzard Cup, which will give you a deeper insight into the ever interesting NaNiwa and take you through his thoughts and feelings of the event and his performance going into the tournament.
